Agatized horn coral fossil from Utah’s Pennsylvanian-age Morgan Formation (~300 million years old), formed when an ancient sea covered the region. Silica replacement preserved the original coral structure, creating natural starburst cells and soft translucency, often colored red by iron minerals.
